DSO Color Challenge

For the color challenge I wanted to really challenge myself and make a freebie kit.  This is my first kit ever.  To make this kit I took pictures of things around the house..... skirts, blankets, shorts and my walls.  I used some solid colors to make frames, used some of my "papers" and made frames and drew a flower, just for fun.  It can be downloaded here:

DSO Shape Challenge

This challenge called for car shapes.  I revamped this page I made ages ago {3 years} and I think it turned out pretty good.

DSO Scraplift Challenge

The challenge was to take at least one element from the sample page and use it in your lay-out.  I really liked the filmstrip idea, but I was having a hard time finding the wavy one.  I realized that the author of the challenge had offered one, so I used it best I could.
I think it looks better with a straight filmstrip though.

DSO Doodle Dares

This page was inspired by the Beverly Clearly book:  Two Times the Fun.  We often read the stories in this book to the twins.  I think Scott was inspired as well.

DSO Recipe Challenge

DSO Book of Me Challenge

This is for the Book of me challenge.  You were to do an old picture of yourself..... I tend to not be able to only do one picture, so I chose to do a whole bunch of school pix.  The background is a picture I took and the speech bubble and font came from Microsoft PictureIt Publishing.

DSO Challenge Ad

All the elements for this page came from Microsoft PictureIt Publishing.   This was for the inspired by an ad challenge.  The torn edges, different angles and speach balloon were what inspired me from the ad.

DSO Challenge 5 for Love

These pages were made using Microsoft PictureIt Publishing.  Photo collage on my own .... I chose and put together each one.  There are no templates used.

So the challenge actually didn't have anything to do with MAKING 5 pages about love.... you were to go give 5 good comments to other people's pages!  OH well, the pages were fun to make anyway! :)
